Introducing Aptia365

Recently, the Mercer Marketplace 365+ enrollment platform transitioned to Aptia365. You will start to see the Aptia365 name in communications you receive, on our benefits enrollment website, and when you contact the call center. You will continue to receive the same exceptional services and features, but now with a new look and feel.

Change to VSP + New Vision Options

Our vision coverage will be through VSP. With VSP, you'll have a new plan option. Compare the new Enhanced plan to the Basic plan on the Vision page. If you currently have vision coverage, we'll automatically enroll you in the Basic plan unless you change your election. To find a vision provider near you, visit vsp.com.

Your Cost for Coverage

There will be a slight increase to all medical plan premiums, due to the rising cost of health care. Despite these increases, Transamerica continues to pay for the majority of all medical plans.

Legal Plan Now Includes TurboTax

The MetLife Legal Plan will now include free use of any DIY TurboTax software for one individual or joint return (state and federal). You'll also have access to planning tools and resources, as well as a discount on their TurboTax advisor support. The cost for the plan will increase by $1.50 per month.

New IRS Changes

  • The deductibles for the $3,200 medical plan are increasing. The new deductibles are $3,300/$6,600. The out-of-pocket maximums will remain the same ($5,500/$11,000).
    • If you're enrolled in the $3,200 plan, you'll be auto-enrolled in the $3,300 plan unless you change your election.
  • 2025 Tax-Advantaged Account Contribution Limits
    • Health Savings Account (HSA): $4,300 for individuals and $8,550 for families. If you're 55 or older, you can contribute an additional $1,000.
    • Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA): $3,200
    • Dependent Care FSA: $5,000

Annual Benefits Enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to make changes to your benefits. This year, all benefits (other than the HSA and FSAs) that you are currently enrolled in will automatically continue in 2025 if you do not actively change them. You must enroll if you want to elect an HSA or FSA in 2025 – these benefits do not automatically carry over.

Note: If you are currently enrolled in vision coverage and you do not make an election during Annual Benefits Enrollment, you will be defaulted into the Basic Plan. If you wish to enroll in the Enhanced Plan, you must make an election during Annual Benefits Enrollment.

What You Need to Do

  1. Learn about all your 2025 health benefits by reviewing this online Benefits Decision Guide.
  2. Confirm your coverage. You must enroll if you want an FSA or HSA in 2025 – these elections do not automatically carry over. You do not need to actively elect your other benefits if you want to continue them in 2025.
  3. Enroll for your benefits between October 24 – November 8, 2024 on the Aptia365 (formerly Mercer Marketplace 365+) website. Please save a summary of your elections for your records directly after submitting them. Your coverage will begin on January 1, 2025. After November 8, you cannot make a new election (for 2025 benefits) until the next Annual Benefits Enrollment period unless you have a qualifying change in status, such as marriage or the birth of a child. Note: If enrolling in the Wellmark Narrow Network Plan (Iowa residents only), you need to designate a primary care physician (PCP). This can be done at myWellmark.com after January 1, 2025 if you are newly enrolling in the plan. If you are a female and would like to designate two PCPs, one being an OBGYN, you'll need to call Wellmark at the phone number on your card to add the second PCP.
  4. If you have any questions on your 2025 benefits, contact the Aptia 365 (formerly Mercer Marketplace 365+) dedicated Transamerica Benefits Center at 866-891-4274. Benefits counselors are available from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. CT Monday through Friday.
During Annual Benefits Enrollment, extended hours will be available: Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. CT, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT on Saturdays.
  5. If you are adding a new dependent, you will need to submit dependent verification documentation to Aptia within 31 days from the date you make your elections in order for your dependent's elections to be processed. If you do not submit verification for your dependent timely, your dependent will be removed from your coverage. Documents can be submitted in the following ways:
      • Upload to the Aptia365 (formerly Mercer Marketplace 365+) website
      • By mail: Mail copies of documentation to Aptia365, PO Box 10398, Des Moines, IA 50306-0398

It may take up to 10 business days to process your dependent verification after documentation has been received.

Watch your mail for ID cards if you make a new medical plan election. If you enroll in new dental and/or vision coverage, you can print your ID card on the Delta Dental of Iowa website at deltadentalia.com or VSP website at vsp.com after you register.

If you newly enroll in a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for 2025, you will receive a debit card and account information from Transamerica. You will only receive one debit card that you can use for any of the accounts including commuter benefits.
